SOLDI am pleased to introduce the next generation of Tree Bark, called "Sequoia." Before my family moved to Indiana, we lived in Brookings, Oregon, which is a coastal town just a few miles north of the Jebediah Redwood Forest. Redwood trees have bark that is as big and thick as a man's hand. My tree bark series would not be complete without the bark of a Sequoia tree. It has taken the best part of a year to develop this deeper, craggier carving technique. The finish offers twice the depth and width of bark texture. The hand feel of this finish is simply wonderful. You won't be able to stop yourself from holding it...I know, because I keep picking it up every time I pass the pipe cabinet! It is very light for the size. The "leaf" is hand cut dark cumberland.
